Africa Safari Expert

Born on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, I went on to live in Durban, Johannesburg and now Cape Town – exposing me, daily, to the richness, beauty, and diversity of Africa!

I was introduced to the world of travel at a young age, as my mother has been working in the industry for decades now. Coupled with my passion for experiencing new people and places, this led me to pursue a career in travel. My second job after university was as an Africa Safari Expert at Go2Africa – where I still happily reside today!

I understand that travel is personal and each trip carries a specific meaning to a client. I interact with clients to best understand what's driving them to undertake a trip – what core need they're looking to satisfy from it. I then match these insights with my vast travel experience in Southern and East Africa to craft a truly personalised experience that aims to fulfil their thirst for adventure in Africa. Go2Africa's network of amazing suppliers mean the whole travel value chain is always on hand to make magic happen!

Soulful Safari Reflection

During a work trip to Tanzania (East Africa), we were surprised with a hot air balloon experience in the Serengeti. A hot air balloon safari is the ultimate must-do on an adventure getaway and makes for an unforgettable experience. The fresh breeze, the beautiful orange of an African sunrise, the colours of the sky, the majesty of Africa's most beautiful landscapes and the feeling of being swept off your feet across these landscapes are a small taste of what can be expected when going on a hot air balloon safari. The flight over the plains followed by a champagne breakfast after landing was simply breathtaking and truly one of the best experiences I've ever had!

Most Memorable Experience Organised for a Client

One of my valued clients wanted to gift his family (kids and grandkids) a Southern and East Africa trip with one of the activities being a Gorilla Trekking experience. No other wildlife encounter in Africa matches the astounding experience of spending time face-to-face with wild gorillas. A truly humbling adventure!

My Best African Travel Advice

Keep an open mind and be flexible. Every safari game drive is unique – an unpredictable experience never to be replicated. So, immerse yourself in it and take the opportunity to connect with nature, feel the rhythm of the wild and appreciate the complex web of wildlife.
