I am a Cape Town native whose love for travel began at just six months old. In 2012, I became part of Go2Africa and have been turning clients travel dreams into a reality ever since. While Africa offers countless breathtaking destinations, Botswana's Okavango Delta holds a special place in my heart.
A few years ago, I really wanted to see a cheetah while in the Okavango Delta. While staying at one of the camps, we went on a morning game drive and heard whispers of other guides spotting a female cheetah. We rushed to the area she had last been spotted in and started hearing baboons making some kind of danger call from the trees – my heart started racing and I just knew we were close by. Not too far from the treeline, we spotted her in all her beauty relaxing beside an ant mount. That was so special to me.
Always remember to take in every experience while travelling. We all want things to go according to plan, as they should, but sometimes the unexpected makes your trip even more memorable. Whilst on a game drive, ask as many questions as you like and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature during a sighting.
Combine three of Botswana's top wildlife destinations. Excellent game viewing & birding.
Classic ‘desert and delta' mix – great biodiversity and landscapes. Heavyweight game viewing: elephants, buffalo, big cats, hippos and hyenas.
Stay at three of the best eco-friendly luxury safari camps in Botswana. Flying to each destination gives you more time on safari.
