Mila Tented Camp

Mila Tented Camp occupies a prime, game-rich position in the western corridor of the Serengeti in Tanzania. The camp is surrounded by acacia trees, massive granite boulders and five natural springs that flow into the camp, attracting wildlife to drink throughout the day. It is also possible to witness the traditional migration of animals to different watering holes and grazing grounds from the privacy of your own tented suite. The Serengeti is the scene of mass wildebeest calving during the beginning of the year, along with plenty of predator action.

Due to its stunning position at the top of a granite ridge, Mila Tented Camp has breath-taking views of the springs, the surrounding woodland landscape and the Serengeti. Each of the eight tented suites is fitted with a king-sized or twin beds, and has a private en suite bathroom and veranda. The tent walls are opened during the day to allow for game viewing and birding from the comfort of your plush bed.

Each tent has its own dedicated safari guide and game-viewing vehicle to enhance the sense of privacy visitors feel upon visiting Mila Tented Camp. Evoking the safari ambience of Africa past, Mila Tented Camp uses gas lamps for light at the bush dinner and around the tents at night. You have access to all the facilities at nearby Mila Lodge, including the spa.
