Craig Killops

Client Experience Expert

A proud Cape Town native with a lifelong passion for nature, I have spent over 23 years in the tourism industry, with the last few years being part of the Go2Africa family. My love for travel, conservation, and the great outdoors has only deepened over time, and I’ve had the privilege of witnessing first-hand how tourism can transform our continent. I'm passionate about sharing the magic of Africa with travellers from all walks of life, creating journeys that leave lasting impressions and meaningful connections.

Soulful Safari Reflection

One of my most unforgettable safari moments took place while watching the bold African sunset from a boat on the Zambezi River. Village children played and swam, seemingly carefree, alongside crocodiles and hippos, in perfect harmony with nature. It was a profound reminder of Africa’s untamed beauty and the unique balance of life that exists here.

My Best African Travel Advice

Immerse yourself in Africa by embracing the slower pace of life. Take the time for friendly greetings and conversations with the local people—you’ll gain invaluable insights into their cultures, languages, customs, and beliefs. Engaging with your guides and trackers not only enriches your experience but also deepens your understanding of the intricate wonders of nature that make this continent so special. The more you connect, the more rewarding your safari will be.
