I was fortunate enough to travel all over the world in my twenties. From that, I came to realize that there really is nothing quite like an African adventure. Since joining Go2Africa, my love for the continent has only grown and it brings me great joy to share this passion with my clients as I plan their perfect safari experiences. I enjoy the challenge of planning new, unique itineraries, showcasing hidden gems, and sharing something special with my clients.
There have been so many incredible moments it's almost impossible to choose a favourite. When I think of my time on safari, one sighting really sticks out; while in northern Sabi Sands we were lucky enough to see 3 leopards together, a mother and young cub with the father nearby. We stayed with them for what felt like hours and watched this curious cub investigate his surroundings, climbing up trees, and drinking water next to mom, while we enjoyed their reflections in the still pond.
Perhaps the most memorable experience would be for a honeymoon couple, who struggled to find options for their last-minute trip to Botswana, and it looked as if it may not be possible. Happily, in the end we were able to offer them an incredible trip, where they got to experience the best of Botswana in secluded newly wed bliss, and we also managed to surprise them with a few unexpected honeymoon treats, to make their trip extra special.
Try not to spend your whole trip behind a camera. The temptation to take a thousand pictures and videos at every sighting is understandable but remember to also take a moment to sit quietly, be present, and absorb these once-in-a-lifetime memories.
